As a native of Guilin, a city renowned for its picturesque karst landscapes but far from the ocean, I was filled with anticipation when I finally stood before the vast expanse of the sea in Beihai, Guangxi. The sight of the endless horizon, the rhythmic crashing of waves, and the beautiful sunset glow left me utterly mesmerized, a feeling of deeply exciting!
The next day, my friend and I decided to wait for the sunrise along the shore.
