Large multi-generational holiday in Thailand
Happy to have discovered Asia Highlights to help me plan a multigenerational holiday for nearly 20 people ranging in age from mid-70s to 6 months old. Sharon Huang helped me plan the 8-day holiday to Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand. We had a time difference of 12-hours and Sharon always responded promptly to my emails/WhatsApp regarding all aspects of the holiday until my family and I were happy with the itinerary. This holiday was to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary, and my mother wanted to dress up in traditional Thai clothing and receive a blessing from the monks. All of this was well organized by the local office. The holiday was wonderful. Our guides, Mr Monchai (Bangkok), and Ms Tipagorn (Tippy) (Chiang Mai) were exceptional. Travelling in a large multigenerational group with many children requires patience and our guides truly understood that. Mr Monchai and Ms Tippy shared their extensive knowledge of the many wonderful places we visited, and were flexible to take us to additional places along the way based on discussions. While everyday was busy, having them greet us with patience and a smile truly made this a memorable holiday. The hotels we stayed at were equally wonderful and went above and beyond to celebrate not only my parents 50th anniversary but also celebrate 2 milestone birthdays that occurred. We will cherish this holiday for many years to come. We hope to use Asia Highlights again.
