One unique travel experience I will never forget in Thailand was attending the Yi Peng Lantern Festival in Chiang Mai.
Thousands of people gathered around the fields of Mae Jo University, where a breathtaking scene unfolded before my eyes. As the evening sky darkened, lanterns of all shapes and sizes were released into the air, creating a dreamy display. The illuminated lanterns floated peacefully, resembling a constellation of stars dancing in the night sky.
The moment when I let go of my lantern and watched it peacefully rise into the sky was incredibly serene and embodied a deep sense of connection to the people and the country. It felt like being part of a collective experience, witnessing the beauty and peacefulness of Thailand's rich culture and traditions.
